Morsels of Manna

I realize we all receive hundreds of emails every month. Each one is trying to persuade us in some form, concerning what we should desire or believe. What I am sharing with you, is from the King James Version of the Bible, using the Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance, to translate today’s version back to the original manuscripts. Some people may not know these tools are available for us to use today. They give us a clearer picture of what the bible originally said. Sometimes, their may be several meanings, and I try to give you all of them, as it relates to the subject.
The book of Titus was written for the early Christian church. It was simply a letter, written to Titus himself. He was a Gentile, convert to Christ, not of Judean descent;who Paul the Apostle had ordained to teach the people of Crete. This letter, was instructions, for those people and also we today who desire to know more deeply the mind of Christ. Maybe their is something here for each of you to expand upon in your own life, as their has been for me, in my studies.

MORSELS OF MANNA
Titus 3:1- 5
1) Remind the people to be subject to principalities and powers, to obey magistrates, to be ready to do every good work. {Quietly suggest to them, to be subject to, to submit themselves, to authority and regulated powers, not attracting negative attention to oneself, but always prepared to act as a law abiding citizen .
2) To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but gentle showing all meekness to all men.(Do not blaspheme or defame anyone. Be a peace maker, not a trouble maker. Do not be prideful, or arrogant; always getting your own way. Show humility, by stepping back quietly, instead of overreacting either verbally or physically.) Ouch!
3) For we ourselves were also one time foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving all kinds of divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another. (We ourselves have also been carnal, unwise, unintelligent, stubborn, roaming away from the truth. Being a slave to various ‘forbidden’ desires and pleasures. Living a troubled life, void of good manners and morals. Acting out of jealousy, and hateful to one another)
4) But after, the kindness and love of God, our Savior, toward man appeared.
(When the usefulness, gentleness, moral excellence, goodness) of love of God (Fondness and love toward mankind, and benevolence-philanthropy.)
Our Savior (Our Deliverer, our God, and our CHRIST-GOD’S MESSIAH} toward man appeared. (when He became visible, shined His light upon us) CHRIST in the flesh, reveals Himself to each of us through His Holy Scriptures. To know Him, we must seek for Him in His Word..
5) Not by works of righteousness which we have done, (Not by our own efforts, occupations, or deeds. Nor by our own character, can we be justified.) but according to His mercy has He saved us, (But because of His active, human and Divine compassion and tender mercies, (He saves, delivers, protects, heals, and preserves us.) by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost.(a bath, immersion, a baptism- to be initiated into the kingdom of CHRIST.) of regeneration (The state or the act of spiritual rebirth. New birth, by the grace of God, that change, by which the will, and natural enmity of man to God, and His law are subdued, and a principle of supreme love to God and His law, or holy affections, are implanted into our hearts.) Messianic restoration. (To ask for Christ to forgive us of all our sins, and cleanse us from all ungodliness, brings us into the kingdom of God. As we walk with Him daily, He continues, to cleanse us from things in our lives that are not pleasing to Him. Accepting Him as God’s Messiah, brings restoration- a spiritual renewal of holiness through His Word of Truth, the Bible.
My prayer is that this study will encourage you, to read, to study, and absorb, the truths, from Father’s Word, on a daily basis. It is here we are given a look into the mind and heart of the Holy God. What a privilege indeed. Here, we can begin to know; what God thinks, what He wants, from each of us, and what He has already, provided for each of us.
His willing sacrifice of Himself, who also was God’s choice, of the spotless, perfect lamb of God, by His death on Mt. Calvary‘s cross. His miraculous Resurrection from the dead, and Ascension of His flesh and spirit body, to the right hand of God. What powerful morsels of truth await us, as we earnestly seek Him in spirit and in truth.
Your Sister In CHRIST, Robyn Roberts
